Anotehr entry from the Greek Orthodox Prayer book is this prayer to Jesus for the end of the day. It says it all, dedicating all to Jesus.
O All-Ruler, Word of the Father, Jesus Christ, Thou Who art perfect, never in Thy great mercy leave me, but ever abide in me, Thy servant. O Jesus, Good Shepherd of Thy sheep, deliver me not to the revolt of the serpent and leave me not to the will of satan, for the seed of corruption is in me. Lord, adorable God, Holy King, Jesus Christ, guard me asleep by the unwaning light, Thy Holy Spirit, by Whom Thou didst sanctify Thy disciples. O Lord, grant me, Thy unworthy servant, Thy salvation on my bed. Enlighten my mind with the light of understanding of Thy Holy Gospel. Enlighten my soul with the love of Thy Cross. Enlighten my heart with the purity of Thy Word. Enlighten my body with Thy passionless Passion. Keep my thoughts in Thy humility. And rouse me in good time to glorify Thee, for Thou art supremely glorified, with Thy eternal Father, and Thy most Holy Spirit forever. Amen.
May GBC be the same.

At The End Of Work

Found this liturgical prayer in the Greek Orthodox Prayer book to be used "After the Completion of Any Work" I thought that was a great idea. The day is composed of so many small tasks, especially those that are planning and organizing GBC. What a great thing to say a short prayer when any task, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, is complete. Pray this with me today.
Glory to Thee, O Lord.or:

Thou, O my Christ, art the sum and fullness of all that is good; fill my soul with joy and gladness, and save me, for Thou alone art all-merciful. Amen.

Wise Prayer

Prov 8:1-6 - 1 Does not wisdom call, and understanding lift up her voice? 2 On top of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3 Beside the gates, at the opening to the city, at the entrance of the doors, she cries out: 4 "To you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of men. 5 "O naive ones, discern prudence; and, O fools, discern wisdom. 6 "Listen, for I shall speak noble things; and the opening of my lips will produce right things.

Do you pray wisely? Do you ask God how to pray? One of the best ways to be assured you will be answered is to pray in a way that conforms with God's already established will. That's just one of the reasons scripture is such a valuable aid to prayer.

When you pray for GBC today, pray in ways that you know God wants.

ANd among those ways is thanking Him. Things are going very well right now.
