Fervent Prayer

Luke 22:44

And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

Do you pray that hard? This describes something beyond the mere recitation of some well formed phrases. This is a struggling in conversation with the Almighty.

Needless to say, we are not called to pray like this everyday, but such prayer is called for from time to time. You can prepare for such a day today by praying earnestly today. Pray like you mean it. Clear your mind of the world and address God as if you saw Him in the room with you. If you pray for anything in this manner, including GBC, it will come out well.
